Best Gyms in Naples, FL (2026): Every Option, Honestly Compared
A Naples trainer compares every gym in town in 2026, big clubs, budget chains, class studios and private studios, with addresses, hours and the prices each one publishes, and says plainly who each is for.
By Coach John · October 12, 2026
If you've typed "best gyms in Naples" into Google lately, you've probably noticed that most of the lists that come up were written by someone who has never set foot in Collier County, and a surprising number of them still describe gyms that have closed or changed hands. I run a personal-training studio in North Naples, so I see this market from the inside every week. What follows is every gym in Naples that matters in 2026, with the address, the hours and the price each one actually publishes, all of it taken from the gym's own website on October 12, 2026.
Let me get the disclosure out of the way first: I own Galaxy Fit Lab, and it is on this list. I'm not going to rank myself first, because the honest answer to "which gym is best" is that it depends entirely on what you're trying to buy. Most people are buying one of three things: a big club with everything under one roof, the lowest possible price, or a coach who knows their name.
The short version
If you want a pool, courts and classes in one membership, LA Fitness on Vanderbilt Beach Road is the place, or the Greater Naples YMCA if you'd like family programs alongside it. If price is what matters most, Crunch starts at $9.99 a month and Planet Fitness at $15 at any of its three Naples clubs. If you'd like a modern club that never closes, with childcare and a sauna, Athletica on Santa Barbara Blvd is the newest option in town. If you do your best work in a coached class, look at Orangetheory, Burn Boot Camp or one of the two CrossFit gyms. And if what you really want is a coach, a written program and a quiet room, that's a different product altogether, and I'll cover the private studios at the end.
Full-service clubs
LA Fitness, Vanderbilt Beach Road
871 Vanderbilt Beach Rd, Naples, FL 34108 · (239) 249-6768
LA Fitness is open Monday to Thursday from 5 AM to 10 PM, Friday until 9 PM, and weekends from 8 AM to 6 PM. It's the only club on this list with an indoor pool, and it adds a whirlpool spa, a sauna, basketball and racquetball courts, and group classes that come with the membership rather than on top of it. The club doesn't publish its prices online; when I last checked, a membership ran in the low thirties a month plus an annual fee. It's the right pick if you want to swim, shoot hoops and take a class under one roof, as long as you can live with a busy floor after work.
Athletica Health & Fitness, Santa Barbara Blvd
4019 Santa Barbara Blvd, Naples, FL 34104 · (239) 276-7160
Athletica is open around the clock for members and staffed Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 11 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 9 PM. You get more than 30 live classes a week, free childcare for kids from three months to twelve years, a sauna, aqua massage beds, a juice bar, a dedicated glute room and a floor of new strength equipment. One thing worth knowing before you join: the heated pool Athletica advertises is at its Coral Springs club, not in Naples. Pricing isn't on the website, but there's a free three-day pass, which is really the sensible way to decide. This is the newest full-service club in town, and it's the one I'd look at if you want somewhere to spend a couple of hours with the kids looked after.
Greater Naples YMCA
5450 YMCA Rd, Naples, FL 34109 · (239) 394-9622
The Y has swimming with lessons and a swim team, tennis and pickleball, a fitness center with group exercise, personal training, and the youth and family programs that no commercial gym offers. Membership prices aren't published online; when I last checked, an adult membership was about $62 a month with a joining fee, so it's worth asking at the desk. If you have a family or you swim, this is the obvious choice, and it's the only option here that doubles as a community.
Budget and 24-hour gyms
Crunch Fitness, Pine Ridge Road
6013 Pine Ridge Rd, Naples, FL 34119 · (239) 455-1008
Crunch is open Monday to Friday from 5 AM to 10 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM, and I respect that it puts its prices right on the page. The Base membership is $15.99 a month, or $9.99 if you commit for a year. Peak is $24.99 and adds classes and guest privileges, and Peak Results is $29.99 and adds the advanced HIIT classes, HydroMassage, tanning and the saunas and steam rooms. There's also a Kids Crunch babysitting room. For the money, it's the most complete gym in Naples, and it's where I'd send a beginner who wants classes without paying a boutique price for them.
Planet Fitness, three Naples clubs
3725 Tamiami Trail E (East Naples) · 4955 Golden Gate Pkwy (Golden Gate) · 12725 Tamiami Trail E, #128 (South Naples)
Planet Fitness is the cheapest door in town at $15 a month for the Classic membership, and the Black Card tier adds guest privileges, massage chairs, tanning and the run of every club. You'll find plenty of machines and cardio, but free weights are limited, there are no squat racks, and there are no traditional classes. It's a good fit for someone who wants a clean, low-pressure place to walk on a treadmill and learn the machines. It's the wrong fit for anyone who wants to get strong with a barbell.
Smash Fitness and Anytime Fitness
These two chains each have several Naples locations, and both are built around 24-hour key-fob access. Smash Fitness, which has gyms in Naples, Golden Gate and South Naples among its seven in Southwest Florida, publishes an All Access plan at $21.99 every two weeks, which works out to about $48 a month, and gives you free weights, racks and turf without a pool or a spa. Anytime Fitness runs smaller clubs at roughly $40 a month with access to any Anytime gym in the world. Both suit people who train on their own and want to be able to do it at 5 AM or 11 PM.
Class studios
Orangetheory Fitness, Airport-Pulling Road
7935 Airport Pulling Rd, Unit 1, Naples, FL 34109 · (239) 599-5650
Orangetheory runs coached, heart-rate-monitored interval classes that move you between the treadmill, the rower and the weight floor. Pricing is sold in class packs and varies by studio, so expect roughly $80 a month for four classes up to about $180 for unlimited, and confirm with the studio before you plan around it. The Coastland studio on Tamiami Trail has closed, which leaves Airport-Pulling as the Naples location. It's a great choice if you want to be told exactly what to do for an hour and pushed hard doing it, without hiring a personal trainer.
Burn Boot Camp, Livingston Road
13020 Livingston Rd, #4, Naples, FL 34105 · (239) 293-3708
Burn runs forty-five-minute strength and conditioning camps with free child watch during class, and that childcare is the reason most of its members chose it over everywhere else. Camps run on a fixed schedule, so check the times against your week before you join.
CrossFit Naples and North Naples CrossFit
CrossFit Naples: 4110 Enterprise Ave, #106, Naples, FL 34104 · North Naples CrossFit: 7740 Preserve Ln, #7, Naples, FL 34119
Naples has two long-running CrossFit gyms, one central and one just off exit 111. Both run coached classes built on the barbell lifts, gymnastics and conditioning, scaled to whoever is in the room, and they have the strongest sense of community of anything on this list. CrossFit Naples offers a seven-day test drive. Neither publishes its prices, but $150 to $200 a month for unlimited classes is the going rate.
CycleBar, Mercato
9118 Strada Place, Suite 8105, Naples, FL 34108 · (239) 631-2188
CycleBar is rhythm-based indoor cycling with heart-rate tracking, up at Mercato. It's a genuinely good cardio habit, but it isn't a strength program, so I'd pair it with one.
Private training studios
Everything above sells access to a room or a class. A training studio sells the coach. Every session is planned, supervised and written down, which is why it costs more per visit, and it's also why it tends to work for people who have paid for memberships they never used.
Galaxy Fit Lab, North Naples
13500 Tamiami Trail N, Suite 12, Naples, FL 34110
This one is mine, so weigh what follows accordingly. It's a private, appointment-only studio where you train one on one or in a small group capped at four people, every session is coached, and every client is on a written program that we track week to week. We start everyone with a free consultation. The pricing is public: one-on-one sessions are $79 each in a 24-session package or $99 for a single session, small-group memberships start at $320 a month for two sessions a week, and a drop-in class is $40. It isn't the right choice if you want to train five days a week on your own, if you want a pool or a sauna, or if you need childcare. It is the right choice if what you've been missing is coaching and someone expecting you on Tuesday at 7. Ask the two studios below the same question, because they're worth a look too.
Fitness Together, Old Naples
335 14th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102
Fitness Together offers private one-on-one training suites downtown, built around a complimentary evaluation and a per-session price. It's the closest thing to our model south of the river, and it's the natural pick if you live in Old Naples or Port Royal and would rather walk there.
The Exercise Coach, North Naples
9331 Tamiami Trail N, Suite 21, Naples, FL 34108
The Exercise Coach sells two coached twenty-minute strength sessions a week on computerised machines. It's efficient and safe for someone who is short on time or coming back from an injury, though because it's machine-only it won't teach you to squat or deadlift.

How to choose
Start by being honest about last year. If you held a membership you didn't use, the fix is not a nicer membership; it's a schedule and a person who notices when you don't show up. Then take the free pass, and take it at the hour you'd actually train. LA Fitness, Athletica, Crunch and the CrossFit gyms all offer one, and a quiet floor at 2 PM on a Tuesday tells you nothing about what 5:30 PM looks like. Finally, price the year rather than the month, because annual fees, enrollment fees and class packs all add up differently. A $9.99 Crunch plan, a $48 Smash plan and a $1,896 training package buy three very different things, and none of them is the wrong answer for the right person.
