Serving Fort Myers

    Personal training.
Worth the drive from Fort Myers.

Galaxy Fit Lab is a private personal training studio in North Naples, about 30 miles south of downtown Fort Myers. It is not around the corner, and we will not pretend it is. What we offer is what the gyms along Daniels Parkway and US-41 do not: one owner-operated studio, a degreed coach who watches every set, and groups capped at four.

    • Thirty to forty-five minutes from Fort Myers, I-75 to Bonita Beach Road then 41
    • Private one-on-one sessions, or small groups with a four-person cap
    • A degreed, CSCS-certified coach, not a rotating staff
    • Two or three visits a week is a real plan, and the program is written for it

We would rather talk you out of the drive than have you make it and quit. Book the consultation and we will be straight with you.

    How far is it, really?

One studio, in North Naples. Here is what the trip from Fort Myers looks like.

    Distance
About 30 miles from downtown Fort Myers; 20 miles from south Fort Myers
    Drive time
35–45 minutes from downtown; about 30 from Daniels Parkway
    Route
I-75 south to Bonita Beach Road (Exit 116), then US-41 south to Wiggins Pass Road. Free parking at the door.

Is Galaxy Fit Lab worth the drive from Fort Myers?

Honest answer: it depends on what you want from a gym. If you want a membership card and a rack of machines, Fort Myers has plenty of those and you should use one. If you want a coach who programs your training week by week, checks your form on every working set, and runs a room where the four people training beside you are there for the same reason, that is a rarer thing in Lee County than it should be, and it is what we do.

The drive works best for three kinds of people. Fort Myers residents who work in Bonita Springs or North Naples and train on the way home, so the studio is a detour of a few minutes rather than a separate trip. People who have already tried the big-box route and want a private studio badly enough to give it forty minutes. And seasonal residents in south Fort Myers and San Carlos Park who want a coach for the winter and would rather drive south than deal with a crowded chain in season.

Training is strength-first for adults who want to feel capable for the next thirty years: squats, hinges, presses, pulls and carries, wrapped in conditioning and mobility work, in 60-minute sessions. Small groups are capped at four so the coach actually coaches. If the drive means you can only make it two or three times a week, that is a perfectly good plan and the programming is written around it.

Where in Fort Myers our members drive from

Rough door-to-door times in typical traffic. Season adds ten minutes to anything on US-41.

South Fort Myers & Daniels Parkway

The closest part of Fort Myers to us: I-75 from Daniels to Bonita Beach Road, then 41 south. About 20 miles and 30 minutes, the most direct trip from anywhere in Fort Myers.

San Carlos Park & Three Oaks

Straight down US-41 or I-75, about 15 miles. Around 25 minutes, and under 20 before 7 AM, which is why our earliest slots suit this corridor.

    Gateway & Colonial Boulevard

I-75 the whole way, roughly 30 miles and 35 minutes. Easiest as an after-work stop if you are already heading south.

    McGregor & Whiskey Creek

Take US-41 south or cut across to I-75 at Daniels. Plan on 40 minutes; a midday session avoids both rush hours.

    Fort Myers Beach

Estero Boulevard south to Bonita Beach Road, then 41 south. About 20 miles and 35–40 minutes, less in summer.

    Downtown & the River District

The longest trip at about 30 miles and 45 minutes. Worth it for people who want a private studio and can train off-peak; be honest with yourself about whether you will make it twice a week.

    Two ways to train
